Getting to Real Change Step 2

Stepping out of your comfort zone is the next step in order to achieve your goals.

It can feel a little scary to risk something new and different. We are wired to be in a rut so that we don’t spend mental energy on re-creating how to do mundane and routine things.

But when you have a challenge to overcome, you cannot and should not use the same failed strategies that led to that challenge.

It’s all well and fine to say to do something different, but what?

I practice NLP (Neuro Linguistic Programming) so suggest looking at it from a different angle. Pretend you’re standing in your ideal mentor’s shoes and journal the answers that come. Don’t hold back, allow those edgy recommendations out. You’ll know which ones are right  for you.

You don’t have to do all of it – now. Pick something and then decide what your next steps are. I’d love to hear what you are willing to do and what you can achieve if you step out of your comfort zone.
